Something about the company
The Ján Paták – Mountain Winery was established by Ján Paták junior, who is the youngest male of a family that has been practicing viticulture already for four generations.

By the volume of production the company belongs to smaller producers what enables the producer to fully concentrate on the quality of the produced wines. The company is situated in the forests above the famous winery town Modra in the Small Carpathian range of mountains, surrounded by the acacia wood and its vineyards. With its location it is the only Slovak mountain winery. In this area (The Small Carpathian viticulture region, Viticulture district of Modra) the company also plants its vineyards. It concentrates primarily on production of quality varietal wines while the Pinot Blanc, Green Silvaner, Lemberger and Saint Laurent are its main varieties.

The aim of the company is to produce, by the means of modern practices combined with quality grapes, wines which are worth high demanding consumers.
